The USBLN® Applauds American Businesses for Appealing to the United States Senate to Ratify the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
American businesses large and small signed onto a USBLN® letter in support of the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) which is an international disability treaty that was inspired by U.S. leadership in recognizing the rights of people with disabilities.
The CRPD is a vital framework for creating legislation and policies around the world that embrace the rights and dignity of all people with disabilities. The USBLN® would like to acknowledge and thank all partners including board members, corporate members, BLN affiliates, USBLN® certified disability-owned businesses and community partners including Access Living, American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), Deb Dagit Diversity, LLC (a USBLN® certified disability-owned business), the National Organization on Disability (NOD) and the U.S. International Council on Disabilities (USICD) for working collaboratively on this effort.
