USBLN Affiliate Disability Employment Awareness Month Events

It’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and the BLNs are hosting local and regional events to celebrate, educate and assist both employers and people with disabilities.  Attend an event in your area, or share with your friends and colleagues near and far.

Chicagoland BLN

(CTBLN is partnering with State of Connecticut Department of Labor, Rehabilitation Services and the Governor’s Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities to sponsor Diverse Ability Career Fairs throughout the State of Connecticut)

  • October 11 Middlesex County Career Fair: 11am to 2:30pm, Radisson Hotel Cromwell, 100 Berlin Road, Cromwell

  • October 20 Diverse Ability Career Fair 11am to 3pm, Three Rivers Community College, Norwich

There is a fee for employer booths. Job seekers do not have to register but can find information about the career fairs. Admission is free for job seekers.
