Dasheika Rainney

Dasheika Rainney is a D&I Program manager at BAE Systems. As a key contributor of the D&I team, Dasheika supports three components of the enterprise D&I goals, diversity, inclusion, and engagement. In her current role, Dasheika serves as D&I lead for the Inc Headquarters Business area and supports her clients in meeting their business area targets to advance inclusion in the workplace. She also supports employee engagement by serving as advisor for one of the company’s seven Employee resource groups, HOLA- Hispanic Organization for Leadership Advancement (HOLA). Finally, Dasheika leads all corporate Diversity outreach in STEM (NSBE, SHPE, SASE, USBLN, SWE) by serving as the lead relationship manager for all diversity partnerships- including serving as the disability inclusion lead for BAE Systems Going for the Gold partnership with the USBLN and managing corporate presence at all events.

Prior to her role as D&I Program Manager with BAE Systems, she managed Diversity Recruitment, Outreach and Compliance at Chemonics International. During her tenure at Chemonics, Dasheika was able to successfully build a strategic diversity outreach program, launch an internship program, manage an OFCCP audit, launch and manage a diversity council, and make the business case for a corporate diversity and inclusion program.

Dasheika holds a Master of Arts from DePaul University. She studied Mass Communications at Saint Augustine’s College- a Historically Black College and University in Raleigh, NC. She was born in Richmond, VA. She and her daughter currently live in the Maryland.
