And so it began with my deaf cousin who is now blind.  My neighbor had developmental delays and my Mom had Alzheimer’s.   My roots began early for my passion for those with disabilities.

While working at the Nokia, I helped ensure their phones met criteria for deaf/hard-of-hearing, dexterity, blind/low vision, and cognitive challenges.

Joining AT&T in 2014, I became an Ability member, VP Operations and now National President.

We created a workshop for those with early-stage memory loss to show how devices set appointment reminders, use walking navigation, and attach photos to contacts for easier recognition of who was calling. I was honored to be one of ten AT&T employees to give a TEDx talk which highlighted this initiative.

That talk garnered so much interest in Alzheimer’s awareness, we created an internal support group for employee caregivers.

I’m honored to be a champion for people with disabilities and the people they love.
