Samantha Yang is the Manager of the Accommodations and Accessibility Program within the Global Corporate Responsibility organization at Northrop Grumman. Using her background in Information Technology, Samantha helped to implement the Accommodate system which receives and tracks accommodation requests online. Her team consists of 3 Workplace Accommodations Specialists and 1 Administrative Assistant supporting 70,000 employees worldwide. On average, they receive about 100 requests per month.
Prior to her role as Manager of Accommodations, she supported many internal organizations within Northrop as an IT Program Manager. Her previous experience with Northrop Grumman also includes assignments with the International Trade Management and Export/Import Compliance group, the Command Media process documentation team and the Web Development team.
Samantha holds an MBA from the University of Maryland. She was born in Guyana, South America and shortly thereafter moved to Australia where she attended primary school in Adelaide, South Australia. While in Australia, Samantha also lived in Canberra, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
